Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani Peruvian Muay Thai fighter, mixed martial artist and currently competes in the UFC flyweight division. Valentina is her older sister and a fellow UFC participant. Antonina Shevchenko began her fight sports journey by becoming a Muay Thai Kickboxer and debuted at the IFMA World Championship Tournament 2003 Shevchenko won the tournament and defeated Suzane Miller at the end of the tournament by an the unanimous vote. Antonina continued her career by winning a silver and bronze medals in 2007 and 2008 respectively, and a gold medal in 2011 and the 2016 IFMA amateur Muay thai world champion. Antonia, who began her professional career in 2003, won in 2012 and 2016 the Lion Fight Lightweight Championships. In 2016, the WMC World Championships were held in 2016, and she won the 2016 IFMA Amateur Thailand World Champion. Antonina fought Isa Tidblad Keskikangas last time at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. She won by unanimous vote. Antonina Shychenko's pro MMA debut took place in 2002 at the KFK Cup of Kyrgystan when she faced Anara Bayanova. She won with a TKO in the second round. She then won her 2 subsequent fights, both at WXF X-Impact World Championships of 2003. This gave her an MMA record of 3-0. Shevchenko was forced to take a time off from MMA and concentrated on her boxing. Shevchenko made her comeback in 2017 against Anissa Diddaoui. Shevchenko defeated Anissa by a unanimous vote as well as defeated Valerie Domergue at Phoenix FC 4. She resigned from the organization and began Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko defeated Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11.
